Doha este capitala Qatarului. Capitala Qatarului se dezvoltă într-o mare metropolă și devine un important centru de afaceri. Doha este un amestec încântător de viață arabă tradițională și modernă. Skyline-ul orașului, încă în construcție, este foarte unic și destul de fascinant de privit. Fiecare clădire este foarte distinctă și totuși nu pare să lase prea departe atmosfera arabă. Viața în Doha se învârte în jurul Corniche, promenada lungă de-a lungul Golfului Doha, un loc perfect pentru a vă relaxa și a vă bucura de priveliștile frumoase ale Insulei Palm Tree și zgârie-norilor orașului. Partea de nord conține majoritatea siturilor istorice, inclusiv Umm Salal Mohammed, un sat relativ mare dominat de ruinele unui fort din secolul al XIX-lea. Deosebit de interesante sunt Marea Moschee cu multele sale cupole și Moscheea Abu Bakir al-Siddiq. Pe coasta de vest există plaje frumoase la Umm Bab, Dukhan și Salwah, aproape de granița cu Arabia Saudită. Sudul este o regiune de dune de nisip și plaje, oferind oportunități de a merge la vânătoare de perle, sau de a practica o varietate de sporturi nautice. Dacă vă plictisiți de viața orașului, restul Qatarului este practic la ușă, oferind unele peisaje splendide și atracții istorice interesante celor cu gust pentru aventură.
