Lay out of hotel ill conceived All the rooms were on one side of the reception along long corridors. if you are unfortunate to be given a room at the end of the hotel it means a long walk.And the corridors become flooded with heavy rain making it a slippery slope.We had a function in the Sky Lime hall which was outside the hotel with no toilet facilities or cloak room.Though there was a path leading to this hall it was not covered and we all got wet getting to the hall.Being a week end the hotel was full of locals and there was no room for us in the pool!

Wadduwa, Sri Lanka

În jurul Wadduwa și Kalutara, la aproximativ 40 km sud de Colombo, se află centrul tradițional al coșurilor din fibre de cocos, dar și pentru producția de cauciuc și producția de Arrak, regiunea este cunoscută. Stațiunile sunt înconjurate de înalte palmieri de cocos și se încadrează armonios în peisaj, plajele cu nisip invită la plimbări lungi. Linia de cale ferată către sud trece aproape de linia de coastă, în unele hoteluri se pot auzi în timp șinele de tren. În special în timpul sezonului ploios, valurile sunt adesea foarte puternice și marea nu este potrivită pentru înot. Cel mai bun moment pentru a călători pe coasta de vest este de la noiembrie până în aprilie. Sosirea se face prin transfer terestru de la Colombo (aeroportul Bandaranaike).
