Suzuka Japan

Suzuka is situated in the northeastern part of Mie Prefecture, in the northern Kii Peninsula, with Ise Bay bordering it to the east. Parts of the city are within the boundaries of the Ise-no-Umi Prefectural Natural Park and the Suzuka Quasi-National Park. The name Suzuka is mentioned in the Nara period chronicle Nihon Shoki. The ancient Tōkaidō passed through Suzuka, and the provincial capital during the Nara period was located within its borders. Suzuka boasts a significant industrial market, housing major factories for Sharp and Honda within its confines.
