Checking in was chaos, staff could not cope with amount of people. When we finally started the process of checking in the hotel telephone started to ring. The female member of staff immediately stopped serving us and answered the telephone despite the fact she was in the middle of serving us ! This is very bad manners to answer telephone whilst dealing with a customer who is currently being served at check in. The female member of staff forgot to give us our passports as she had put them next to her computer, so had to ask her for our passports.

Verified traveler

Not worth the money

Disappointed and not worth the money - the resort is really outdated and needs some serious love. Our room had a smell, the shower felt dirty and a lot of features barely worked (lights not working, tv had no sound etc). Advertised a swim up bar but this was closed off and looked like it had never been open. For the price we paid I wish we’d stayed elsewhere as this was not worth the money at all

آقابا, اردن

آقابا تنها شهر بندری اردن است که در خلیج آقابا در جنوب افراطی این کشور قرار دارد. آقابا پنجره اردن در دریای سرخ است. آقابا در سال های اخیر توسعه زیادی را تجربه کرده است، واقعیتی که منجر به بهبود زیرساخت ها و امکانات شده است. آقابا از سال ۴۰ پیش از میلاد به دلیل موقعیت استراتژیک در چهارراه مسیرهای تجاری بین آسیا و آفریقا یک سکونتگاه مسکونی بوده است. در طول جنگ جهانی اول، نیروهای عثمانی پس از یورش، معروف به نبرد عقبه، به رهبری TE Lawrence (معروف به لارنس عربستان) و نیروهای عرب شریف حسین در سال ۱۹۱۷ مجبور به عقب نشینی از عقبه شدند. مهم ترین مکان هایی که در آقابه می بینند عبارت اند از: • قلعه آقابه در اصل قدمت آن از قرن ۱۴ میلادی است، اگرچه سازه کنونی توسط مملوک سلطان الغری قنسون (۱۵۰۱ تا ۱۵۱۶) ساخته شده و از آن زمان تاکنون بارها تجدید نظر شده است. • Ayla, (در کنار مجموعه Moevenpick). شهر باستانی که هنگام ورود اسلام به این منطقه در سال ۶۲۲ پس از ظهر تأسیس شد. • کلیسای رومی قرن ۴: قدیمی ترین کلیسای مسیحی در تاریخ. • موزه آقابا: این موزه منحصر به فرد قطعاً یکی از جاذبه های اصلی شهر آقابا است چرا که انواع دارایی ها را به نمایش می نهد، همچنین مدل های زندگی در اندازه زندگی سنتی در یکی از قدیمی ترین شهرهای اردن است. همچنین شامل مجموعه ای از تصاویر تاریخی نادر از ابتدای قرن گذشته تا به امروز است.
