Kandy otthont ad a Fog Relikviájának Templomának (Sri Dalada Maligawa), ami a buddhista világ egyik legszentebb imahelye. Az UNESCO 1988-ban nyilvánította világörökségi helyszínné.

About the destination: Around Wadduwa and Kalutara, about 40 km south of Colombo, is the centre of the traditional cocos fibre basket, but also for rubber production and Arrak production the region is known. The resorts are surrounded by tall coconut palms and blend harmoniously into the landscape, the sandy beaches invite for long walks.
