And when you've had your fill of the city's diverse restaurants, top-tier museums, and vibrant nightlife, you can always escape to the nearby Uetliberg mountain or take a boat trip on Lake Zurich – if only to catch your breath before diving back into the city's delights again.

The Central Plaza Hotel is situated right at Zurich's Central Square next to the main railway station. Guests enjoy free WiFi and complimentary access to the gym next door. A coffee machine with free coffee can be found in all rooms and there are 2 restaurants. All rooms are soundproofed and they come with a minibar and satellite TV. The private bathrooms feature a hairdryer and toiletries. Slippers and bathrobes are offered on request. The Central Plaza features the Kings Cave grill restaurant, located in the cellar and decorated with ancient mirrors and paintings. The Central 1 restaurant and bar serves breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake as well as dinner. In the evening, there is live piano music. During summer, guests can also dine at the Central Garden outside. The Bahnhofstraße, Zurich's most popular shopping street, is only few steps away from the Central Plaza.
