Modena (Province) Italy

The Province of Modena is an administrative area in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Its capital is the city of Modena. The province covers about 2,689 square kilometres (around 1,038 square miles) and has a population of roughly 701,000 people (as of 2015). It is made up of 48 municipalities (known in Italian as “comuni”). The largest, after Modena itself, include Carpi, Sassuolo, Formigine and Castelfranco Emilia.
