Modena (Province) Italy

The Province of Modena is an administrative area in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Its capital and largest city is Modena. The province covers about 2,689 square kilometres (1,038 square miles) and has a population of around 701,000 people (as of 2015). It is divided into 48 municipalities (Italian: comuni). Besides Modena itself, the largest municipalities are Carpi, Sassuolo, Formigine, and Castelfranco Emilia.
