Miramar Barcelona has a picturesque setting within gardens on Montjuïc Mountain, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It offers 2 swimming pools, free Wi-Fi and rooms with spectacular views of Barcelona. Housed in a former palace with a Neucentisme style, the hotel maintains many of the building’s original features and it is one of the symbols of the city. The interiors have chic, contemporary design. The hotel has 24-hour room service and a bar with a terrace. Studio Miramar restaurant serves a selection of Catalan and Mediterranean dishes. Each of the Miramar’s air-conditioned rooms has floor to ceiling windows, a 47-inch TV with international channels and a minibar with a courtesy bottle of water. Their private bathrooms come with L'Occitane toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and either a shower or a designer bath tub. The Joan Miró Foundation, the Old Port and the National Art Museum of Catalonia are within 20 minutes’ walk of the Miramar. And just 10 minutes walk from the Olympic Stadium and Palau Sant Jordi.

The hotel is nice, but the area terrible, full.of homeless and crazy people. I was scared because we are a family with 2 kids. We couldn't go around, explore or even walking with tranquility because the public out there!

Verified traveler

The hotel was great and the entire staff was nice and helpful minus the check in staff. The check in staff were not very helpful and in order to get a question answered you had to have them check to make sure you were a guest of the hotel. It was annoying and time consuming.
