مدینه شهری در شمال مکه و دومین شهر مقدس اسلام است. شهری آرام و خوش آب و هوا که در آن بسیاری از مکان های تاریخی و باستان شناسی به همراه چندین مکان تاریخی نبرد اسلامی وجود دارد. مدینه در فرهنگ، میراث و موزه ها غنی است. باغ های خرما و بازارهای سنتی قدیمی (سوک) در کنار مراکز خرید مدرن و بازیچه ها در این شهر فراوان هستند. یانبو خانه برخی از زیباترین سواحل است که نور خورشید به مرجان های زیر دریای آن می افتد مانند نقاشی از منظره ای منحصر به فرد و کم دیده. این یک شهر خلاقیت است که با سایر شهرهای دنیا رقابت می کند. مداین صالح مکان باستان شناسی پیش از اسلام میراث جهانی یونسکو است که در استان المدینه واقع شده است. همچنین به آن الحجر می گویند. وقتی وارد این منطقه می شوید، خود را در میان کوه های متصل و صخره های جداگانه روی یک منظره گسترده می بینید. مداین صالح پس از پترا در اردن، پایتخت و شهر مهم نبطیان بود.
