عن الوجهة: بعيداً عن كون مدينة زيوريخ نواةً لاقتصاد سويسرا ودورها الهام في سوق الصرف النقدي العالمي، إلا أنها مدينة فنية حيوية ومواكبة للأشياء الرائجة في العالم، فما عليك إلا قضاء بعض الوقت في الجزء الغربي منها حيث تم تحويل مستودعاتها السابقة وجسورها وأماكن بناء السفن، إلى مراكز فنية وحانات مميزة ومحلات شعبية. تعبر زيوريخ عن شخصيتها بصوت عالٍ عبر مكبّرات الصوت خلال موكب الشارع السنوي الذي يقام بها، وهو عبارة عن مهرجان موسيقي ضخم، يجول المدينة محتفلاً بموسيقة التكنو. تعج شوارع المدينة العائدة إلى العصور الوسطى بالمقاهي على زوايا الشوارع، والحانات العصرية، والمطاعم رفيعة المستوى، كما سيكون من الممتع قضاءكم فترة ما بعد الظهر بالاستمتاع بطقسها الباعث للراحة والاسترخاء خاصة في فصل الصيف، حيث تشابه ضفة النهر شواطئ البحر. لشتاء زيوريخ أجواءه المميزة أيضاً، حيث تتحول المدينة إلى لوحة فنية متقنة عندما تكسو الثلوج أزقتها المتعرّجة، ونوافير المياه، وضفاف الأنهار، والمنتزهات، والمعالم المعمارية الرائعة المبعثرة في الأرجاء؛ في هذا الوقت تحديداً تنتشر أفضل أسواق أعياد الميلاد في المدينة، وتبدأ روائح الحمضيات وحلوى السينابون، والنبيذ،التي تدعو للدفء بالانبعاث، مع العلم أن السياح يزورون المدينة بهدف التسوق على مدار العام. فيما يتعلق بالجانب الراقي لزيوريخ فهو يتجلى في شارع بانهوف (بانهوف شتراسه)، حيث تجد أكثر متاجر الملابس شهرة وعراقة، مما يعد من مراكز الجذب الرئيسية للتسوّق في المدينة. ولكن، لا تقتصر هذه المدينة على المحلات الفارهة في الشوارع الرئيسية، بل عليك باستكشاف الشوارع الخلفية لاكتشاف العديد من المحلات التجارية ذات البضائع الغريبة والمتنوعة المختبئة. أما بالنسبة للطبيعة فمن الواضح أنها تبتسم لأكبر مدن سويسرا، حيث يمر فيها نهر ليمات، وتطل على الجهة الشمالية من بحيرة زيوريخ. كما أن إضافات مهندسي العمارة لا تقل عظمةً وروعة عن لمسات الطبيعة، ويتجلى ذلك بتصميم كنيستي فرومنستر و غروس منستر المتقابلتين عبر النهر .عند اكتفاءك من مختلف أنواع المطاعم ومتاحف الدرجة الأولى والحياة الصاخبة، فلديك المزيد من الأسباب للاستمتاع بزيارتك كالتوجه إلى جبل أوتليبرغ القريب، أو الذهاب في رحلة على متن القارب في بحيرة زيوريخ لتلتقط بعض الأنفاس قبل العودة للغوص من جديد في الملذات التي لا تنتهي لهذه المدينة.

About the city: With the Alps and the Lake Lucerne as its backdrop, charming and prosperous Lucerne is a spectacular city. Brightly coloured wall painting, an art form that flourished in the late 16th century, decorate its narrow streets and colourful squares. The city is ideal for boat trips and excursions to Mt. Rigi and Mt. Pilatus. A walk along the river affords a great view of the old city. Two ancient bridges cross the river. The Chapel Bridge is decorated with scenes from Swiss history, and runs by the Water Tower, symbol of the city. The shorter Spreuerbrücke is adorned with Kaspar Megliner’s eerie Dance of Death paintings. Walk by the Altes Rathaus, City Hall, and through the charming squares of Weinmarkt and Hirschenplatz for a taste of authentic Swiss wall painting. For a bird’s-eye view of Lucerne’s dozen or so churches and three mountains, Pilatus, Rigi and Titlus, climb the medieval fortifications with their numerous towers. Don’t miss Das Löwendenkmal, a huge sculpture of a lion carved into the face of a rock dedicated to the Swiss mercenaries of Versailles. Mark Twain dubbed it “the saddest and most compassionate piece of rock on earth”. In the Am Rhyn Haus, next to the Altes Rathaus, you can see an interesting collection of late Picasso works. The combination of tranquil lake and breathtaking snow-capped mountains give Lucerne a special charm which is furthered even more by the medieval old town, famous wooden bridges and beautiful skyline.

About the destination: Zermatt is a picturesque ski resort, situated at the northern base of the powerful Matterhorn. Skiing, hiking, and mountaineering are the primary attractions at this resort, but there's so much more to explore in this flower-adorned village. Hinterdorf, the oldest part of Zermatt, still has a few traditional Swiss wooden houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. The St. Mauritius Church is a prominent feature of Zermatt's skyline, located in the bustling city center at Church Square, or Kirchplatz. Adjacent to the Catholic Church, the Matterhorn Museum preserves Zermatt's history and houses various artifacts. Near St. Mauritius Church is the town's cemetery, the Mountaineers' Cemetery, where the headstones narrate the incredible stories of climbers who met their fate while attempting to ascend the Matterhorn. The main street is a hub of activity, with restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, gift stores, and numerous shops selling Swiss watches. Beautiful Swiss-style buildings line both sides of the street. The English Church, a charming little church perched high on a hill overlooking Zermatt, is a heavily timbered structure that, while not as large or ornate as the Catholic Church, has its own unique charm. It's definitely worth the uphill walk. Zermatt, bustling, crowded, busy, and beautiful all at once, epitomizes the Swiss atmosphere. Despite being filled with tourists and vacationers, the town has managed to maintain its delightful Swiss ambiance.
