Kosgoda Sri Lanka

Kosgoda is a small coastal town located in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. It lies about 72 kilometres (45 miles) south of Colombo at an elevation of around 1 metre (3 feet) above sea level. The area is becoming one of the most vibrant tourist destinations in the Galle District thanks to its beautiful beaches, the Kosgoda Lagoon—ideal for birdwatching and boat trips—and its famous sea turtles and turtle hatcheries.
