Murano Italy

Murano is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, in north‑eastern Italy, in the Veneto region. It lies about 1 kilometre from the city of Venice and is famous for its glass crafts, particularly for its lamps, glasses, cups and ornaments. It has approximately 6,000 inhabitants. It is made up of seven smaller islands separated by canals and waterways, but connected by bridges. It is known worldwide for its traditional blown glass production. Thanks to the island’s craftsmanship, it attracts a large number of tourists.
