Azraq Jordan

Azraq is a small town in the Zarqa Governorate in the east-central part of Jordan, 100 km east of Amman. It had a population in 2004 of 9,021 people, of whom 84.5 per cent were Jordanians. Thanks to its oasis, Azraq is a significant settlement in this remote and dry region of Jordan.
